Trainer Certification

The Institute has Mentor Trainers available to mentor PCT Trainer candidates. All candidates are approved by an Institute Mentor Trainer certified with TLCPCP. The Institute’s certification process aligns with Mentor Trainers throughout the US.

What does is take to become a Certified Person Centered Thinking Trainer?

Consider these questions:

  • Why do you want to pursue certification?
  • What will you do if you are certified?
  • Are you willing to commit to a process that will take several months?
  • Do you understand that not every candidate will be certified without demonstrated competency in the Trainer certification requirements?
  • Do you have the resources and support to complete the process?

What is the credentialing process?

In order to become a certified Person-Centered Thinking Trainer, you are required to successfully show competence by completing the Four Stages of Certification.
